But Thomas said to them, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe.”
And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria
“Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”
“For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
“Shepherd the flock of God… not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock…”
“The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day…”
And they arrested them and put them in custody… But many of those who had heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to about five thousand.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul…
After these things Jesus appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country. And they went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them.
And now I ask you… that we love one another.
